Lucky
This girl acquired her name after being rescued from a hard life as an outdoor dog. Finding her self in a shelter at her age meant literally no hope of adoption. She is a senior lab, with a heart of gold. And today, January 25th, 2009 was her "lucky"day. Lucky went to her forever home with two whole families to love her-her adoptive parents and their kids and grandkids, as well as her new sister Pebbles-a rescued yellow lab who welcomed her with a wagging tail. All of us at the CRT are so thankful that this girl will spend the rest of her many days spoiled rotten and living the life of the princess that she is. *A very special thanks to Gab, Pat, little Zoe and Thunder for helping show Lucky that it is okay to love again-and for bringing her back to health with all the love they showed her-many people should take lessons from your examples of unconditional love of the animals and committment to the rescue.*
